LET Trust is dedicated to advancing knowledge and research that supports the adaption needed to move the world in a changing climate.

A changing climate will directly impact logistics professionals. In order to support our mission, we are expanding our mandate to provide bursaries to include researchers focused on understanding the impact a changing climate will have on the global value web.

Researchers must make all research and data publicly available through publication in an established journal and through LET Trust.

We are interested in research proposals and supporting research from around the world and from both practitioners and academics.

We support research in the following areas

• Food Supply Chain - how we will feed and distribute food in the 21st century will be dramatically different than the post-war era.

• Exponential Technologies - how will new technologies - from drones to blockchain to artificial intelligence - change the value web.

• Climate Impact to Logistics - what impacts and where will a changing climate have on the movement of people, goods, and services - and how can logistics professionals respond to changes.

• Historical and Future Supply Chain - what can yesterday’s trade routes tell us about tomorrow.
